Bata Malaysia Wins Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award
On August 1, the eighth edition of Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards was held at the Le Meridien hotel in Sentosa, Singapore. The event recognizes the best companies in the region across a variety of categories, and Bata Malaysia was present to receive one of the prestigious awards.
Bata Malaysia was given the prize for its effective use of marketing communication in attracting and retaining talent, as well as developing its staff. Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards were carefully researched by Dr. R. L. Bhatia, chief editor and founder of World CSR day, and chaired and headed by Dr. Indira Parikh, the former dean of the Indian Institute of Management, in Ahmedabad, the most prestigious education institute in India.
The awards featured some of the region’s top organizations, with recipients having been shown to have demonstrated excellent qualities in translating and combining vision with action in human resources strategies, and cultivating competencies for the future to enable the organizations to be ready to take on future challenges.
Accepting the award at the exclusive presentation ceremony in Singapore, on behalf of Bata Malaysia, was Wilsen Isuwaran, head of human resources at Bata Malaysia. The event was witnessed by more than 200 industry leaders and media representatives from across Asia.
